By the advent of the Flag Day of Kurdistan, the third annual book fair has been opened at the Faculty of Science for 7 days by the Students Union of Zakho Branch. The event was conducted in the presence of Dr. Nadhim S. Abdulaziz, President of the University of Zakho, Dr. Karwan F. Sami, Vice President of the University of Zakho for Students Affairs, Mr. Hakeem Abdullah, Representative of Branch 8 of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and Mr. Ahmed Saeed, Head of the Students Union in Zakho.

Noteworthy, the book fair includes a variety of books in several languages. The partners of the event include the bookstores of Jeziry, Navyan, Piran, Gardun, Hema, Moksi, and Nursin, and they offer %25 - %50 discounts.
